In Passing… Don S. Davis (1942-2008)

Actor Don S. Davis died Sunday from a heart attack while at his home. He was 65 years in age. Davis’ debut was in the TV show, “Joanie Loves Chachi.” From there he had roles in film and in TV series as “MacGuyver,” “21 Jump Street,” “Twin Peaks,” “The X-Files,” and most recently he played General George Hammond in, “Stargate SG-1.”

Thoughts, prayers, and best wishes to the Davis family.

I am a big fan of Stargate and was thoroughly shocked of the news. I made a sort of memorial for him in his honour. I’m sorry to hear of his death and hope no one will think of me as a wuss when I say that I did, in fact, cry. It’s weird to watch Stargate SG-1 and see him in it, yet knowing he’s dead. I hope he will always be remembered by all who have known him, or at least knew his characters. He was a good, kind man.
